Lesley is originally from Northern Ireland and qualified as a Solicitor in 1993 following training in London. 

 

She has since pursued a legal career in the East Midlands specialising in commercial and civil litigation work.

 

Lesley has a vast experience of handling a diverse range of dispute resolution matters from commercial contract disputes, civil engineering and building disputes, sale of goods and services and consumer related matters, insurance and contractual disputes, negligence claims, product liability and all aspects of debt recovery and enforcement, to property litigation including boundary and neighbour disputes, rights of way cases, dilapidations claims, landlord and tenant matters and evicting trespassers.

 

In addition, Lesley has experience in corporate and personal insolvency matters, shareholder disputes, professional negligence, intellectual property and defamation claims. 

 

She undertakes work for private clients as well as those in the commercial, corporate and industrial sectors.

 

However big or small the job, Lesley always adopts a friendly and commercial approach with the aim of providing a positive practical solution and clear comprehensive cost effective advice.

 

Away from the office,Lesley has a busy family life with two young daughters. She has a keen interest in the arts, enjoys good food & wine and playing tennis, and last but not least watching rugby.
