Award Winners

Larken & Co have been pronounced the winners of the ‘Best in Training & Developing Employees’ Business Award by Nottinghamshire Chamber of Commerce.

Larken & Co were also winners of the "Innovation Through Technology" at the Newark Business Awards.

 

Dragon Boat Challenge

 

As part of the Newark Water Festival, we entered a team into the boat race. This required a crew of 10 plus a drummer to row a 30ft, brightly coloured boat along the River Trent which runs alongside Newark’s historic Castle.

We had a great deal of fun whilst also raising money for charity.

Charity Abseil

Lindsey Roberts (Reception) and Clive Rossin (Partner) all braved the heights of the Newton Building in Nottingham so they could abseil down it. They raised over £400 for the RNIB but aren’t sure they'd be brave enough do it again!

 

Newark Heritage Week

Larken & Co is supporting the Heritage Week. The aim of this being to promote Newark’s quality and range of historic buildings by providing free access to local facilities which normally make a charge or have restricted access.

Magnus School

We are constantly up-grading our computers and this has resulted in a significant number of PC boxes being unused. Instead of these going to waste, we donated them to the local Magnus School for their use.

 

We have also donated 3 microscopes to the School.
