Award Winners
Larken & Co have been
pronounced the winners of the ‘Best in Training & Developing
Employees’ Business Award for 2003 by Nottinghamshire Chamber
of Commerce.
Dragon Boat Challenge

As part of the 2004 Newark Water
Festival, we entered a team into the boat race. This required a crew
of 10 plus a drummer to row a 30ft, brightly coloured boat along the
River Trent which runs alongside Newark’s historic Castle.
We had a great deal of fun whilst also raising money for charity.
Charity Abseil
Lindsey Roberts (Reception),
Jo-Anne Fryer (Civil Litigation Dept) and Clive Rossin (Partner) all braved
the heights of the Newton Building in Nottingham so they could abseil
down it. They raised over £400 for the RNIB but aren’t
sure they'd be brave enough do it again!
Newark Heritage Week
Larken & Co is supporting the 2004 Heritage Week. The aim of
this being to promote Newark’s quality and range of historic buildings
by providing free access to local facilities which normally make a charge
or have restricted access.
Magnus School
We are constantly up-grading our computers
and this has resulted in a significant number of PC boxes being unused.
Instead of these going to waste, we donated them to the local Magnus
School for their use.
We have also recently donated 3 microscopes to the School.
